Moving of Interceptorshield

I have been working on a missile defense and air defense game project for a while and recently we switched engines from the old TGEA Engine to a new open source engine and have finished porting our content over and started implementing stuff in the new engine. we recently got multi stage rockets working so we are no longer limted to single stage missiles so missile meshes can not be composed of seperate parts that will seperate when the stages complete.

We put together some test videos from the test launches in the new game we did ingame and I thought I would show them here.

are next planned stage is implenting of basic radar and missile defense elements so the next video we do will show player deploying differnt elements and attempting to shoot down an incoming missile to protect ones cities.

Here are direct links to the video's I have uploaded from the tests.

What is the open source engine you are now using?

Looks cool although I have no idea what this game is about or what engine you are using.

Hi Nathan, we did a similar thing here on TGE then ported to TGEA. Couldn't you have created a hidden mesh on the missile, with animation for seperation of each stage?

Two words: mounting RigidShapes?

Anyway, I'd also like to know what the new engine is. Good luck moving the project over and with future stuff!

Based on the logo in the upper-right corner of one of the first video, it looks like the engine is Neo Axis: http://www.neoaxisgroup.com/

Yes Neo Axis is a nice engine using OGRE.
I have a commercial license for it.
Never build a full game using it, only a few small prototypes.
