Been a while...

I has certainly been a while since I've ventured into these parts. I seems now that the last version of TGEA runs on OSX, so why hasn't anyone ported to Linux? SLACKERS! Otherwise, seems that Linux is now officially "community supported only". Shame, that. That was one of the huge advantages that drew me to GG to begin with (a while back). Well, I dropped out of development for a while due to lack of artists. Which is to say that artists would rather be unemployed than to work cheap. My utterly complete lack of artistic talent lead me to drop development of my project. Recently though I've gotten the 'itch' again and I've arrived at a new tactic. I'm using whatever art I can grab from the internet. Yeah, I get that I can't release this way, but at least I can finish my code. Hopefully, when the game is done I can either attract artists willing to deal, or maybe attract investors. At any rate, I've re-entered development with unusable art in order to get it done.
Here's some screens:

Not much to look at really. But I have directional and rotational control over the vessel at this point along with toggle-able inertial dampers. I've made real progress since I've given up on the art aspect. I may never get to release this as a game, but at least I'll be able to finish it.
And, yes, I am aware that one of the Enterprise diagrams is inverted.
