Very Merry Christmas To You All

This blog marks my Christmas greetings to you all... A day late. But despite my procrastination to write this blog, I'm gonna do it right now. Also I'm managing to start each line so far with the 2 word phrase "This blog". Good For Me? Dunno.
This Blog ;) will list all the things i've been doing so far over the grace period of my break also in This blog ill list some of the things i hope to do in the future.
First off I've been working on some new concepts for a game that I talked to my boss about. Wish i had some pictures, but im on my grandma's laptop. I planned it to be called "Sky Racer" but suddenly realized that the name was pretty generic. So the name is still in the works. Its going to be a 3d racing game taking place in the sky- but on platforms that in between the tracks you have to go off jumps, go through hoops, loops, etc. While racing a formula one car at the same time. (Laymen's term - Marble Blast only a car instead of a marble, plus your going about 150 mph faster.)
Concepts, Concepts, Concepts...
I've got a lot of ideas floating up in my noggin.
It's an interesting concept, plus minimal coding My Con and lots of art design. My pro by farSo this will probably a simple fast project. With the rest of my team, it could be ready in 3 moths or so.
Speaking of my team, our project Perished has reached alpha-beta stage. Honestly, I can't tell what stage were at. You might have seen my boss's blog about it. Some confusion going around, but at least were making progress.

Yeah, I ran into that problem, too. I had enough money to get iTGB, and then found I'd need a Mac system. I'm 18, so it's not like I have a high paying job which let's me easily afford all that stuff. I ended up going with a refurbished Mac-mini (about $650), and used a kvm switch to connect my PC and Mac together. Then I discovered I'd need to fork over another $100 to join the Apple development program. "You need to spend money to make money" as they say :)
Anyway, hope you get the laptop ;) Can't wait to see your games!

That's great! I wasn't sure how I'd like it, as it (obviously) comes with the Mac OS and I'm a die hard Windows fan. But I found out it's not too bad when you get used to it =D Keep us updated!

@Matt: Well, I guess it's how you look at it. You can't use the SDK to compile to your device unless you pay the $100 to get the developer's certificate. So, in a way, the free version is kind of like trial software--you can't unlock the meat of it until you pay some money. But, yes, I am definitely glad I didn't have to pay even more money to download it :DThat's great!
