Im currently writing my paper on "How Dynamic Music can Increase the immersive qualities in Games" In my first few chapters I talk about music in games on how they compose music and the development stages. I need to do some research into these stages. I am trying to get in contact with anyone who industry experience with music composing or project management. If anyone could help please contact me on my university email 07076680@students.lincoln.ac.uk.

If you would like to know more on Dynamic Music and how it works check out my previous blog post www.garagegames.com/community/blogs/view/10828.

Whilst writing my paper i am developing a game called "Lucy In The Sky" to back up my dissertation. This game is a side scrolling adventure game. The art style is 3D pixel art.

Hey that game looks great. Really like the 3D pixel art.

BTW, skimming over your description of dynamic sound: have you taken a look at FMOD Designer? Your description pretty much sounds like FMOD Designer's interactive music feature. The entire system is basically about coupling game state to sound effects and music.

Cheers, Ye ive looked in this cheers. I'm also looking in to how music should be composed whilst the levels are in the design stages so that the music follows with the gameplay. I will proberly have to buy fmod for torque as this will help with the intergration of Dynamic Music.
