Hey Everyone! As mentioned The long anticipated wait is over...the Sticks & Twigs Environment Pack updated for T3D! Yeah!!!

www.monsterpacks.com/contentpacks/sticks&twigs/ST_T3D_PROMO_v2CS.png

This plan will be brief as I'm about to leave for work, but I wanted those who had been waiting patiently to get a chance to get started messing with this release.

Some quick notes:

* It's big. A lot of assents and textures here so be aware that it's a big download.

* There is a Demo version and an Assets Only verion. PLEASE read the install instructions. It's very basic, but if you are working on an existing build there are about five script changes that you may want to diff against your build to make sure it doesn't change anything you don't want it to.

* Only a portion of the models are animated. Most of the ones represented in the Demo Missions are, the rest will be addressed in a point update down the road. Again, wanted to get the basic, functioning pack out there so people could start working with it.

********IMPORTANT UPDATE****************************************************************************

* *IMPORTANT* THE PC SELF-EXTRACTING PC DEMO FILE IS DAMAGED. UNTIL IT IS RE-UPPED, JUST DOWNLOAD THE "MAC" ZIPPED VERSION...THEY'RE IDENTICAL, JUST ONE IS A ZIP AND THE OTHER IS A SELF-EXTRACTING EXE...

********IMPORTANT UPDATE****************************************************************************

I'm sure there are a ton of things I've missed and I'm sure you'll have a zillion questions, I'll be incommunicado for about eight hours, so bare with me and I'll be back...

I'll leave you with a video that you may or may not have seen in the forums:

Thanks again! Alan

Alan, I would like to thank you for your marvelous work, as well as making this pack available at a more than reasonable price, especially in these times where it seems like the price of everything is going up. *cheers*

Oh, very nice! I was just about to buy this pack last week, but the page didn't say anything about T3D support... now I have no excuses not to buy it :)

Great video!

Congratulations Alan! Thanks for adding so much to your already super high quality art. It's a great day to be an RRGTS customer. :)

The only problem so far has been the spawnpoints ... they automatically want to spawn BoomBot. :)

So you need to make some minor changes to the missions or the player.cs file ... but other then that ... awesome stuff.

Basically what I did was: create a new project and then I copied the entire Sticks and Twigs directory over that ... thats how the BoomBot error has poked its nasty little head out. :)

I am not able to login to MonsterPacks.com to download it. It logs me out right when I get logged in.

Man. Somebody hurry up and release a game based on Torque 3D and these kinds of content packs. I'd love to play a game that looks this good.

Is this version in the GG store? Or do you have to go to another site to purchase it? The reason I ask is that the GG store page for this pack says nothing about T3D yet.

Hey, just got home from work. UGH. Glad to be home.

Ok, to all, Thanks a lot! Appreciate the kind words and encouragement! Let me know any issues you run across and I'll try and address them in a point release.

@NovoGeek,
Yeah, that was a call on my part. I'd seen several of the models come and go in version releases of T3D, but the Boombot always seemed to be there. Figured it would be the least problematic if I went with a single character.

@Adam B.
I'm emailing you direct links until I can look at your login and see whats up. We'll get it worked out!

@Brett S.
I'll fire that email off soon, but if anyone needs to get ahold of me directly, it's alanjames AT charter.net.

@Will Z.
Thanks man! Hey, do you want to do some crazy promo on the "Haunted House Pack" and the "Tombs & Crypts Pack" for Halloween week? I've got them updated for T3D! =)
email me!

@Rodney B.
Yes, this is the version in the GG store. The promo stuff probably hasn't been updated yet, but it's all live there!

I also have a store for Really Really Good Things Studio at www.monsterpacks.com. I don't pimp it too much here, but it does have quite a few things not offered here and some of Will Z.'s awesome effects and audio tracks!

And again, really, thanks so much!
