Verve - Update

In the weeks since Verve hit the GarageGames store, I have been busy improving some of the key features of the toolset as well as writing up documentation and fixing a few niggly little bugs.
With this update I'm one step closer to the full release of Verve! The latest update makes a pretty significant improvement to the Path Editor as well as the layout of the Sequence Editor. Here is the full change log (I'm sure I've missed a few little things here and there):

With this update I'm one step closer to the full release of Verve! The latest update makes a pretty significant improvement to the Path Editor as well as the layout of the Sequence Editor. Here is the full change log (I'm sure I've missed a few little things here and there):
- Added VController::onLoop script callback. - Added LoopCount to VController. Lets you loop the Sequence X number of times. - Added thorough check of the mission for Scene Objects used in Group creation. - Reworked the Verve Editor GUI. - Reworked Motion Tracks & Events so that they are much simpler to use. - Removed support for multiple Motion Tracks for a single Object. - Replaced ::integrate and ::reset methods with Controller Signals. - Removed StringTable references in favor of the new String class. - Updated Path Editor to function the same as similar Editors in T3D. - Fixed a bug while trying to play a sequence from the start/end while timescale is negative/positive. - Fixed a bug when clearing a Controller. - Fixed Stepping, Back/Forward Jumping from the Sequence Editor. - Fixed a bug while rendering a Linear Path. - Fixed a bug where the game would crash if you performed an AddNodeUndo action on a selected node in the Editor. - Fixed VPath Node Rotation in the Editor. There have been some changes to the tutorials up on the site, but you will probably want to check out the new pathing tutorial. I'm waiting for feedback on what kind of tutorials and documentation you guys would like to see, so if you have any ideas pop me a line.

Phillip, I'd be interested in a tutorial about creating an animation that is relative to the player's position (or any dynamic position). I'd like to have an object fly over the player from the skies above when the player dies. It would then cast a beam down that would revive the player. How should I go about doing that with Verve?

Konrad, that wouldn't be too difficult with Verve. I'll have a think about the best way to do it though.
