Like the recent Sci Fi packs, hard to find good Sci Fi art.

@Dejan:

I love the models, they are extremely high and professional quality. However, I have a few problems that I wasn't quite expecting.

I was given the impression that the models are Torque compatible. In fact, they are not.

The car models have their turrets and wheels attached, and the whole thing is one big mesh. Although the turrets are available as separate models, you should also provide a separate wheel model and both car models without turrets and wheels. Without some serious art work, it is not possible for me to use these models in Torque. Alternatively, you should create separate mesh groups for some parts of the vehicle, so we could hide/show them in our games.

Do you think you can update your pack? I really love your models, and I have purchased many of your packs, but each time I realize that there is a lack of attention on usability with Torque.

I need to pull extra strings to make your art be compatible with any version of Torque. I had to mention it, because I'm not able to use this artwork in Torque as it is right now.

I'd really like to hear your thoughts on this.
Many thanks,
--Konrad

As you see, there are some bad faces on the models. Both cars have this problem. Also, I don't understand why the closed car has all the interior details.

Can you correct these problems please? If I can help you in any way, please let me know.

Hm, I really can not see those problems. I checked it again and again.
Also each animatable part has its own mesh just because of easy animating. Maybe when we exported to DTS we got some meshed jointed. I just checked FBX format and it is perfect. Can you somehow use FBX and export to your needs?
Let me know if that helps.
Please contact us at support@dexsoft-games.com and we will solve all your problems

Thanks Dejan for the response. I'm glad it only concerns DTS shapes. I've checked in Milkshape, and the object seems to be perfect!

I will re-export the shape from Milkshape. If you want, I will send back the exported dts files, so others without a modeling app won't have a problem with it.

Many thanks again.

I've been trying to do it properly, but I just suck at 3d modeling way too much. I'll play with the exporters a bit more. Oh, and the ms3d model does not have Torque vehicle nodes either.

well, i was going to buy this, but yah, there is alot of these art packs that are super great meshes.. 3drt does the same kinda thing. Great meshes, but need alot of work and a whole another artist to make them usable. till this gets fixed Ill be using the BattleFrog :)

The quality is really top notch, the downside is that it still needs me hiring an artist to really be able to use it in Torque. I agree, same goes for 3drt.
