Another article!

Finally!

Another blog! Sorry for my quiet-ness, I've moved and had no internet. Now that I'm cozy and settled in, time to roll back into development.

Before I jump to 'new' stuff, awhile ago I wrote an article on my project and how it started up.
If you missed it you can find it here on Moddb.

That said, I've finally finished part 2 which puts you most up-to-date on what we've been doing, unless you've been following our blog.

You can find part 2 of the article here on Moddb as well.

Needless to say I've been doing fun code stuff like making buildings have normals.
Which is bundles of fine tuning material.cs files! Not that bad at all I guess, but turns out to be a pain.

Large Version here!

For some reason I got the impression that anything that was from Torque constructor was unable to have normals. I was just confused then, but its working fine now.

I'm quite impressed with the power of the Normal map with SSAO.
I greatly under-estimated both! I won't do that ever again.

We've also been working with Voice acting.

Thats a lot of links! Of course you can catch all you ever want of us on Our blog.

Lastly I've been working with AI (originally from Mark Holcomb) and doing my best to modify it.
I'm quite impressed with it so far! I got to admit I don't understand them as much as I should.
The only major thing to do left is to finish some animation and sounds and then...?

Well, thats about it, with some polishing of course. Thats weird, it doesn't feel like its that close, but it really is.

...Wow.

If you don't know who we are, we're a small group of various people developing a free independent game called 'Crimson Crow' using Torque Game Engine Advanced.
It might not be as shiny as the new stuff but we're sticking with it.

I'd appreciate any feedback on anything!
