* iHero - darkpegasus is setting up a game server, looking into options. Considering Project Darkstar and would like recommendations on that and anything else people can think of.

* Happenings with VBStrider and Crew - newsletter #44: programmer report on drag and drop system; new sketches in iScribble from the artist; community report on new clan to combat n00bs

* Reinvention and Further Development of the Wheel - staaf details his game's entity-component system, sharing code of the workings as he goes over the implementation and his problems/successes with it

* Rated N For Nerd - nerd_boy is working up a parser to use with his rnfnCodeLite project for sytax highlighting and maybe IntelliSense and AutoFormatting. He's detailing the design of said parser quite thoroughly

* Journal of AEdmonds - AEdmonds has uploaded the final demo for his game Escape from Space-Prison Lambda

* Journal of EDI - EDI has some new videos of gameplay and discusses future alpha/beta testing plans, as well as where they will be sourcing their testers if anyone would be interested in joining

* There is no escape from the Washu - Washu continues to detail SlimGen, looking at just how much difference it can make, based on a timed test sample that runs through a series of matrix multiplications

* Journal of Lethargic Programmers - cameni, working with his buddies angrypig and jonsky, are taking their terrain engine into the flight simulator realm with help from the JSBSim Flight Dynamics Model library as well as his companion's past experience in flight sim products

* The Broken Mind - Azh321 has a quick post mortem up on his recently-finished project Hypertac

* Chronicles of the Hieroglyph - Jason Z has his 5th D3D11 programming tip: Compute Shader Resources - looking "a bit closer at the resources used with compute shaders in both HLSL and the application"

* Journal of Ysaneya - Ysaneya has two tips for you all: first is his fix for the artifacts generated by the logarithmic Zbuffer Cameni proposed last week, second is a solution for seamless filtering across faces of a dynamic cube map
