A Real Blog!

We've "finally" created our own blog and site!
I guess this just means we were slow to getting around to it.
You can find the blog Here
The website itself is under construction, the blog is up and running and good to go.
I've added more props to the Gull City map, and with some SSAO its looking quite nice.

This sounds strange, but now that I think of it, why didn't I think of it before.
We were modeling props for so long that we thought were needed. Like sandbags, barricades, barb-wire...ect.
When we got a comment noting we need to add 'realistic' props, that is stuff you would actually see in a house, I was a bit stunned.
In that screen shot, you'll notice way more 'normal' props. I'm fairly happy with the look so far.
We also swapped a few unrealistic textures. I guess in the long run, we have a lot to go.
For the second though, I'm off to code up some AI!

Nice screenshot. The SSAO really adds to the realism. But I think the SSAO causes a little too much contrast--i.e., that the crevices are a bit too dark, compared to adjacent areas. Just my 2 cents.

Stuff like wardrobes are boring and dull to make, but in the long run might heavily change a game's look. I barely added 6 new props since the last update and it changed the overall feel by a mile.
Maybe adding another 6 will take it another mile?

SSAO does cause too much contrast, but it sure beats what we used to have.Stuff like wardrobes are boring and dull to make, but in the long run might heavily change a game's look. I barely added 6 new props since the last update and it changed the overall feel by a mile.
