Aplha 0.2.3 (Very Early Stage)
Zombies are the same I know but just rough outlook on what it going to look like. Zombies are not animated either yet, but i wanted to post a little blog about the game.
Also the player will be abit bigger as I know his small.
Story
Days Alive is set in England during an Apocalyptic Zombie outbreak. You are alone and against a mass force of zombies. Its your job to stay alive for as many days as you can. The Story is what ever you want it to be, you are in an open world where you can choose to find a place to hide, look for the reason behind the out break, look for survivors or just choose to survive as long as you can.
Gameplay
This game plays out like a mix of Geomtry Wars and GTA. Zombies will attack in mass and will take alot of fire power to take them on. You can get in cars and roam round, looking for health, houses to hide in or survivors. You can head out to the country-side and hide out in a house, but after a few days you will find out that there will be a mass mass amount of zombies to deal with(at moment this lags the game as there are just too many) So its best to have your self prepared or not to stay in one position to long.
Where I am so Far
So far I am in very very early stages as you can see from screenshot. So expect things visual to change as the project goes on, but i have been spending many hours in tweaking the main mechanics and AI.
The main game mechanics i want to have in the game is a fast past shooter thats fun and additive. From here it will then evolove into a free roaming player orientated game. By this i mean that what ever way you want to survive the out break is upto you.
Who am I?
Im a Games computing student thats just about to go into my last year of Uni. From here i will proberly be using this game for my final Year project so this project will be under development for about 10months, but i will hopefully be releasing playable beta's for my research towards my dissertation. I'll explain that in a later blog. From my two years of study im going to include the main dynamics with in games, into my game. So i will be following Asthetics and dynamics that make a game and from here i hope to it give me a game out come that i want.

Thanks ye, its mainly just for prototyping, but im going to be enlarge players, as camera and texture scale fit, its just player.
