Rumors Of War Demo

Anyone wanting to take part in a demo test of a battlefield style game, welcome to Rumors Of War. We designed Rumors Of War from the Combat Kit and added a few dozen new features.
Join in the battle for the last of the worlds resources. Blow up oil refineries, take bridges, attack enemy bases and help your army win the war. Your statistics will be kept on a sql server while you earn awards, rank and weapon upgrades for your soldier.
We are also looking for some people to help out with final production. If you like what you see and would like to be part of the team contact me at: ashtara@comcast.net or leave a note in the Rumors Of War forum at www.mydreamrpg.com .

the "bab al mandeb" is actually "the gates of hell"
dont ask, I've been to Yemen, (al mukalah, al mokka, aden, and theres a funky island called sokotra, just cliffs all round).
and to the other side somalia (mogadishu).

Awesome Info. I just had to use what I could find on google earth :) Thanks. I will note that for the next version.

One question though: is anyone else getting slow download speeds? At the moment, this game is downloading at around 30-40 kb/s.. It's gonna take about four to five hours to download, apparently.

Note: I did have the extrelemly slow download time so I cancelled and figured I would try again later.

it kept crashing for me right before the game screen would come up..ps im using vista, ill boot into xp and see what i find

How odd. Maybe in option you could try another resolution. This was actually built on vista so that shouldnt be a problem.
