In case some of you don't read our fantabulous InstantAction blog, here are a couple of entries about the upcoming project:
Leaderboards are something we're pretty pleased with. You'll be able to check out your high scores in relation to all of Facebook, and in relation to your friends' scores (the more interesting one). I was skeptical about leaderboards at first, but I admit that seeing Daniel's, mine and then the rest of the team's scores on it as we built it out was pretty darn spiffy.
That picture is a bit dated, by the way. :) It looks more, erm, fully operational now.
And here's what started the posts, noted for posterity.
I should probably mention something about what I do. I'm on the Instant Action web team, making various widgets, thingamabobs, UIs and interfaces that let you, our fantabulous gaming audience, get into the games faster and easier, and do more interesting things while you're not playing the game. I worked on IA a goodly chunk, then on the team that brought you PlayLegions.com, and now I'm working on the no longer suparsekrit Facebook app.
Before we started working with FB, I thought our IA codebase was pretty gnarly. Compared to FB ... well, it's still pretty gnarly. But in a completely different way :) Fortunately, we learned a lot from it and the brand spanking new platform (also in-house built) that we're developing on now will let us do things in a much more modular way, which should mean shorter development times all around.

Just curious, is IA growing player base wise? Every time I'm visiting it, still very few players to play with.... or you are holding off with marketing to polish the things first?

What I've expirienced, Legions has always enough servers and players while other games like Lore: Aftermath has max 5 servers up.

I think that IA is the wave of the future, I love the lobby and I love Rokkit Ball! I am curious how far the IA team is planing to go in the next few years, I wonder if with Torque3D can they go Virtual world like Sony's Online World! i.e. 3D Lobby with avatars etc...

I like IA, except that Marble Blast can't be made full screen (and the options for making Legions full screen are hardly obvious).

@Tuomas: yep, Legions gets the bulk of growth and use, and so it gets a lot of support from us as well. It's a vicious circle like that!
@Lance: Surely everyone knows Alt+Enter! :) We're making full screen a bit more obvious on PlayLegions and the FB app; at some point we'll try to carry that over to IA as well.
@Deborah: Yay! So if that was the pre-launch party, I'm ready for the post-launch party now. :D
