Motive Games 3: you're getting closer to your game dev suite

The third episode of Motive Games was released yesterday for the Narrator iPhone/iPod Touch app and as a podcast. No one has solved the mystery yet (and gotten a chance to win the $2500 game suite -- including a license of Torque 3D) but some of you are certainly honing in on "how" the murder was committed.Just as a reminder: you get entered to win by going here and telling us who you think murdered world-famous game designer Marc Roland, how they did it and why. You get one chance per episode (released once a month between now and October) to enter -- so the sooner you get in there, the better your chance of getting one of the prizes. Of course, each episode that goes by, the clearer the answers become.
First prize is a MacBook, a license of the modo 3D modeling and rendering software (courtesy those wonderful folks at Luxology) a license of the Houdini Apprentice 3D animation package (courtesy Side Effects Software) and a license of the Torque 3D game engine (courtesy our favorite engine developer): retail value $2544 USD. Second and third prizes are an iPod Touch. The contest is open to anyone aged 16 and over (except residents of the province of Quebec); though coming up with the right answers requires listening to either the free audiobook version of the story (iTunes or here) or the full, multimedia Narrator version. (Narrator is $2.99 at the App store).
Also, we'll be showing off Narrator and Motive Games in Tokyo next month at the Digital Publishing Fair -- we'd love to see you at the booth (don't know that number yet) if you happen to be there. More information about any of this will be coming over the next couple of weeks at www.heymacsoftware.com
