Plan for Mark Frohnmayer

I've been making some pretty significant changes to the mission and terrain editing tools for Torque over the last few weeks, and everything now appears to be (more ore less) functioning properly.
To test out the new editor, you'll have to sync up to the head revision in CVS.
Some tips, since I haven't had a chance to write up doco on the new editor stuff:
1. camera rotation is changed using the right mouse button.
2. World editor scaling and rotation are now managed using modifier keys -
no modifier keys = move on plane
shift - toggle selection
ctrl - move vertically
alt - rotate
ctrl alt - scale
3. Terraformer and texture scripts are no longer seperate - they are written into the terrain block itself. You can import terraformer and texturer scripts from the File menu.
4. Texture painting IS working. However, the interface for it needs some work - basically, for now, add the material you want to use in the terrain texture editor (via the Add Material... button), and select the Action->Paint Material menu option. The current terrain brush selection will allow you to paint partial materials.
5. Some of the camera and mission editor keys have been changed around. Look in the pull down menus for all the options and key equivalents.
Enjoy! Please post feedback and bug reports on the forums or as a comment to this plan.

Does this mean you plan to implement procedurally-recreated terrains? As in downloadable at connection time? Pleeeeeezzzze!?!
Tim Gift and I discussed this at TC3, and I have been trying to bribe someone to do this for some time (since I'm too stoopid to do it myself ;)
