Fighter Starter Kit

Hey All,
Just wanted to announce a new project being developed for TGB ,similar to Guilty Gear or Street Fighter, and get some feedback from the community on what they would like to see included. So far included plans include:

2 fully animated characters
2 stages
punch attacks - high and mid
kick attacks - high, mid and low
block - high, mid and low
2 special moves per fighter
a buffer to read last 10 or so moves for special moves
accurate collision detection
3 round fights

If this is something you guys would be interested in or if there is anything else you would like to see please let me know.

sounds great.
how about add in combo hits, and some kind of key combination hit control, say press "SASD/U" in less than 10 frames to perform a super attack(oh, sorry, it seems you've already include it in your feature 2).

Will there be support for 2D fighters as well?

@anthony - it focuses on 2D fighters, there is no 3D going into this project.

Timothy... you should update your blog to say what engine it's for to save confusion :)

Sounds awesome,
Will there be jumping, and jump attacks?
Will we be able to drop powerup items and weapons for the fighters to pick up?
Can a fighter drop/lose a weapon after taking certain amount of damage?
How will it handle fight intro, and fatality sequences?

This is too exciting,

Aww man this is great! I actually started working on something like this but I got tripped up on the camera and collision issues. I have behaviors for special moves, particle projectiles that do damage, working heath bars round timers/win icons etc etc. If you're looking for any help I may be down for that. I wanted to make a kit like this myself but I wasn't sure how to go about that and I got no answers when I asked on the forums.

Looks neat. If the features are there, I just may have to finally pick up TGB!

I am a bit confused, though. Is this geared towards a Street Fighter type game, or a Final Fight type game?

Networking/multiplayer would be nice, though I'm not sure if TGB can handle this type of networking out of the box.

Sounds like a cool kit though, will keep an eye on this one.

@ J.P. - Street Fighter and i will be trying to get this to be multiplayer but i make no promises on that aspect.
