FINALLY...the GG Merchandise Store!

You've been asking for it for literally years, and its birth is now upon us. GarageGames finally has a Merch Store.

What does that mean for you? That means:

You too can sport the same black T-shirt worn by our resident GG Samurai. Slay forum trolls and right wrongs in our very own community, without ever leaving the sanctity of your dev desk. Do your part to promote indie games around the world, even when you're just walking down the street for your morning joe.

Black too emo for you? Don't do the Goth look? We got you covered with a classic GarageGames red. Sometimes you just got to flaunt it while you're pelting your enemies with nerf guns. Or maybe you just need the right color to bright out the shine in your eyes. Hey, we're not judging!

Maybe you're one of those developers who actually enjoy getting out in the sunlight once in a while. Our GG caps will keep your forehead sunburn free while you play bocce ball or just code the day away. We still recommend the shades and sunscreen though! (Headphones optional.)

If you're like me, you've already got more work-related clothing that you can stand. That's why we're also offering some gradient-shaded mousepads to spruce up your desk. The mousepad is compatible with all sorts of environments, including answering support questions at work or taking out your development rage on a nearby wall.

Got a spare spot on your refrigerator? Or maybe you just got a snake tank that needs a little personalization? Whatever your needs, we've got GarageGames logo clings that stick to most glass and metal surfaces. Sport your pride wherever you got some bare spots.

I have to admit that this has been the funnest project I've worked on here at GarageGames. We have a lot more ideas and plans that we'd like to try out with the GG Merchandise Store including more items (can anyone say mugs?), more contests (giving out shirts and mousepads as prizes), and most importantly, more community (such as discounts for community members who use merch-related avatars on GarageGames.com). It all depends on you and your feedback. Let us know what other items you'd like to see in the store in the comments below. It can be a new item or maybe a new design...be as specific as possible! The store will only be as successful as your feedback.

Cheers and always Happy Game Development!

@Tom: Forget an associates T-shirt as being exclusive, I want a "I'm with Tom Spilman" T-shirt. Now that's the kind of merch' I'm talking about.

I was also thinking perhaps a TortoiseSVN monthly commits (by Tom Spilman) pie-chart for the Torque3D repo would be awesome as well. :)

Another vote for hoodie.

Wasn't there a blue-white-red GG mousepad? I liked that design a bit more.

@ Melv - hahaha!

Those look AWESOME. Frankly, I *never* buy product merchandise but I'm actually considering picking up more than one item. I have got to have that glass for my orange juice. :)

OH YEA.... I RULE!

Ummmm.... but not really. :)

Alot of those commits were from work Ross or James did which i moved over from our internal repos. Those guys make me look good. :)

And just wait and see some of the stuff they have coming up.... muhahaha!

I literally had my virtual hand up ready to ask, "can I get that giant hood decal," as I read the caption on the photo.

@Henry: Ha! We were discussing this internally. Someone wanted me to list the giant G car decal as a product just to see how many actual sales we'd get. :)

Sam Williams' POS is quite impressive though...one of a kind.
