Cyber-Wing Trailer

Hey guys, thank you to those of you who have been following us and welcome to those new people checking us out for the first time. This trailer was originally going to be a cinematic but due to time constraints we went with something more footage-based.

On the topic of this trailer you can see one of the features we developed for CW. Falling and burning trees are visible, those are shape replicators with some modifications to allow for them to fall over in a gameplay-effecting ghosted manner.

In some exciting news we are going to be developing a single player, mission-based campaign, more details on this will be forthcoming as we go.

Also, here is how the open beta is going to work. It should be up and running by june 10th, and will be available for anyone to download, we're aiming for around 100 megs. We will run the servers locally to maintain a close eye on things and keep updates simple. Cyber-Wing is a 1v1 or 2v2 game, so you may often join a server to find yourself observing. Observing should be fun, it will give beginners a good chance to learn some of the ropes. A game of CW is fairly quick, usually less than 10 minutes, and those players who were observing will be cycled in for the next game in a queue system.

Thanks for your continued support, and I look forward to seeing some of you in the beta!

@ Konrad, you see your rocks in there? :D By the way I might have a game idea to utilize your dungeon creator add-on; I'm excited about that one too!

@Devin: Sure I did see the rocks! :) I'm planning to start working on a dungeon generator that creates dungeons real time from within the engine.

Your game looks fantastic, I really wish I wasn't so close to starting my own beta. :) I'll do my best to give it a try nonetheless, it looks like lots of fun!
