Ping Time Update

I'd said I'd try and remember to post a second blog on Ping Time later on to give a more complete look at sales numbers, and for once, I didn't forget. The graphs and whatnot give a fairly complete picture, but I'll give a bit of a synopsis on them as well:For about the first two weeks, I was averaging around 50 sales/day (heck of a lot better than I ever hoped for). Around the end of the first week, this was sufficient to put me on Major Nelsons Top 10 sellers list with something like 49 sales/day for that time period. The following week I had fallen off the list, with an average around 44 sales/day.
Over the next week or so, it slid further down the What’s New and Most Popular (trial based?) lists on the Xbox, and as the charts show, numbers dropped off (especially trials) in a fairly steady fashion in step with the position on those two lists. When I finally fell off both lists, sales pretty much ground to a stop, with just 1-2 per day since then. On the good side, I would think at this point sales will be pretty steady long term now, so I'm looking at probably $50-$75/month long term, not too bad given the time I put into it.
So current sales totals: $2282.50 gross, approximately $1546.62 net, and a total of 182,600 MS Points spent on it by customers.
Besides making a heck of a lot more money off this than I had hoped for, it also gave me a two amusing bullet points I can now claim: Created a top selling Xbox 360 "game", and I can now claim to have had been paid over $1500 per hour of work.
Well, that was supposed to be a synopsis, but once again I've ended up writing far more than I had intended to. Oh well, the picture to text ratio is still in the green here, though its still not laid out real pretty.
At this point, the only way I would expect to see any significant additional revenue from it would be if I somehow had 1000+ new people download the trial in a single day, as that would likely toss me back up on the most popular list which seems to be the main correlation with sales. So if anyone out there knows someone at any of the big gaming sites/blogs and wants to mention it to them, it could prove to be an interesting experiment...
