New site, old site, some discounts and a new direction

Hi there fellow Torque Developers,

My website over at www.editmygame.com is still under development as I moved it from godaddy servers and Matt Summers is working on the new custom layout. The new version will have the old packs as well as something new: support for more engines (Torque or not) and SVN access for clients. Also the development will slowly move from mere models to prototypes and workshops (like a pack, a guide and a game idea all in one) at very reasonable fees.

The packs store is now temporary located on my other website, www.kubkinetik.com, dedicated mostly to 2d. I applied a 20% discount for 3 products (or more) ordered and also, for the remaining of May, a 30% on every order, regardless how many products you purchase. Also, for your convenience, I moved the store to the front page.

Here is the listing for the available products (paypal payment only);

Warrior Camp: An introduction to Torque3D Pipeline (need a few more days to polish the text, also to be followed by updates via svn as it progresses through betas to Release)
Bridge Pack
Game Workshop ~ example game with mount option for vehicles, weapon mounted to vehicles and more; placeholder art for catapult vehicles and breaking stuff ~ free download
Environment Guide
Interior Guide ~ fixed the textures issue
Textures Pack ~ free download
~Unity FPS Workshop (to be released)
Props Pack
Kaboom Pack
Environment Pack
Doors Pack
Mappkit Vintage ~ my first pack.

Good looking site App! I *would* appreciate it if you didn't use this old logo though:

It's just that we don't use it, and haven't used it for a long time. Thanks!

Nice looking site, but I found a spelling mistake :Warrior Camp 'An introduction to the Troque 3D Art Pipeline'. You might want to change that. People could start asking questions 'What, another new engine?' :-)

Nice idea, it's a bit like the saying : give a man a fish, and he'll eat for a day. Learn him how to fish, and he'll eat for a lifetime.

If I see it correctly, you're trying to learn people how to fish with your explanation documents. Way to go!

Ahh, the "Game Workshop", that's the remnants of that Siege prototype isn't it? I still like the ballista vehicles :D

I actually have a 3d-model of that "old" logo.

Good stuff.

In regards to your store, it might be a good idea to separate a lot of that text from the images so that it can be read by search engines. Might get you a few more hits from people searching for content for Torque and Unity.

Brett, I used the old logo to tell that the contents are compatible with older versions of Torque. While all models are compatible with every version, some packs features are not, i.e. the kaboom pack comes for tge and tgea versions and engines prior to 1.5 are not supported.
Gerald, It's still a temporary location for the store before I finish the website and implement svn for clients.

App, I understand, but I don't think we've used this logo since TGE 1.4. Yuck!

I was hoping that the GG site would add this type of marking of which products are for which engine ect. I really hate the Unity icon on the same page with the tripple tees!

I agree. Some of the stuff on the site (like the RTS Kit) is not officially for post-1.4.x TGE, but there is no visual mention of that. A compatibility indication should be added in the near future.

The site has changed since two days. I can't see the different packs you're selling

@Grugin ~ that is because I am posting an update on the website, the last one. More info on my next blog later tonight.

..yeah, I noticed people hate that icon. But is my website.
