Game Mechanics Kit 1.1.0 demo and future plans

Greetings everyone!


I have already told you about PHYSICS PACK and CUT SCENE EDITOR in my blogs.

I spent a few hours this Saturday and came up with "Orcs vs Orcs" demo scene. It demonstrates features of both Physics Pack and Cut Scene Editor. Video is actual uninterrupted in game footage (including sounds and slow-mo effects) without any editing in external programs like movie maker, adobe premier, final cut etc.

I've also updated "Orcs Rule" demo game and added more physics object to scene.

So. What we gonna do next?

GMK Future Plans


1) We're going to have GMK exclusively at official GG Store soon. And all current customers will have their GMK licenses transfered to GG account.

2) Minor GMK 1.1.1 update with some bug fixes of GMK 1.1.0 and full TGE support will be shipped sometime next week.

3) We're starting development of GMK version for T3D.

4) We're doing research of some useful features for GMK AI. First of all I talk about highly customizable character that has different animation states (walking, running, sitting, shooting pistols, shooting machine guns etc). This character should have some perception system - simple models for vision and hearing and some kind of goal oriented planning. Anyway I'll do a separate blog when we'll come closer to this.

Got the 2 files for terrain but the objects still fall through.
Maybe missed some collision code?

Maybe will do it in the future.

All features of GMK including Physics Pack 100% works with network. And you can choose whether or not ragdolls synchronized over the network to save traffic.

Probably you're trying to throw physical objects out of mission area.
Mission Area object sets bounds for terrain, in which terrain will collide with physics objects.

GMK is amazing Yuri, do you need suggestions for future improvements?
1- Add cloth and soft body physics.
2- Add IK to keep the feet on the ground.
3- Double the price

I can't wait unitl T3D becames stable but here some ideas for the GMK T3D version.

1- Talk System : Mechanics that is like Mass Effect.


2- Animation cut scene : when the model does a special attack the camera will do a 360 or what ever you spawn it to do.


3- AVI video on DTS: that you can connected to a DTS or Collada and add a movie file. with the option to control the speed/loops.

4- monitor Rendered on an object: guiDynamicTexture: that can be connected to a DTS or Collada and add a viewport of a area.

I have little problem with the installation ..
I'm little noob in use it..
Exist one autoinstall file whith i can auto install ode for tge or bullet for tgea fast..

"i have tested to only copy the directory from the buyed version and when i click fire on one object the game crash..."

What i can do?

"lol, i know i'm really noob in use it but i think for no expert user can make one .exe for auto compile the file for tge and tgea version with one autoinstall or automerge.. etc.. """
Need help "repeat , i'm noob in this .. but i want to use this because i like many features of this big addon/integration etc.."
