I just figured that to get this new version of Mythrealm up and running it would be beneficial to start with a rundown of the current projects that we are working on. at http://www.mythrealm.mapvault.com
* First of all the conversion of the old site. We have images and posts from nearly 5 years to try to migrate over....Hopefully this will be possible. It may however be necessary for all of our previous members to re-register. The old site is still available at http://mapvault.com In the coming weeks we will be removing parts of it as they become available here, and then we will add this site to the main index at mapvault.com.
* 2nd we are working on a few cars for content packs. Currently I have the high performance car modeled and textured....I am however having a few issues getting either it's shaders working in Torque or getting environmental reflections working. As soon as I do you will be able to find it in the content store.
* 3rd. I've also been working on a collection of medieval buildings and historically accurate interchangeable castle pieces. I will probably releasing these in a few small packs that can be combined to form complete villages / towns and complete castles / compounds.
* 4th. Ive also been working on a few sets of textures.... first a couple of packs worth of misc photographic based original textures to help cover the modern world.... the first of which will be available very soon. This will have items from appliances to carpet , fabric, picket fences, cabinet, household doors, street signs, etc...These will all include normal maps and be available in several formats. The other textures I'm working on are converting the old 'Golgatha collection'.. which I came across quite a while back.-- "The Golgotha texture collection is an assortment of high quality true colour textures that were initially created for a game that ran out of money. The authors therefore very kindly decided to make all of the textures public domain, and as such it is one of the most valuable resources for independent game makers."-- When I came across them they were part of a large set of wad files set up for the game studio engine. They need some pretty major updates. First of all they need to be removed from the wad files and then I'm also making normal maps for all of them.
I also recently started working on a set of fully animated breaking glass windows.... This may take a while because there are a few issues to deal with on the debris end.
anyway... hope you will be able to find something that you are able to use...
