Ambient Audio DVD Collection Coming plus more!

I have a huge amount of info in this blog to post about all about my FINAL Ambient moods CD, Solar Arrival 2 and my new collectors edition of my all my Ambient style content packs. Yeah, this blog is not lying... I am halting all my ambient sounds work. I will not be making any more ambient audio packs after this final Solar Arrival 2 goes live. the next project for me is to build up the mega DVD collection and then begin working on my content packs for models, textures and levels for the new Torque 3D engine. At least, that is the goal right now.

Now, The Solar Arrival pack features:

* 28 rhythmic pieces for your game.
* Almost 37 minutes of sound here in this one pack.
* Features dark and light tunes.
* Complete in OGG formats and each runs between 30 seconds and 1.5 minutes.
* Average size is 600k to 1.3 megs each.
Will there be a Solar Arrival 2?

Yes, it is already done. I'm making it right where this pack leaves off. There will be new remixes of some of my personal favs like the head track, Solar Arrival but too, many other new sounds not yet on any of my releases. The 2nd pack is set for release in the next few weeks and will feature 21 all new pieces on it for the usual $14.95 asking price. I'm also going out on a limb and releasing HALF of the pack free so you can see if it fits what your doing, if you like what I will release, then please consider buying the full pack.

Also, PLEASE NOTE that the Solar Arrival 2: A Solar Ending CD is just that, a ending to my music work. I am calling it quits on the Ambient moods packs from this one on. I am compiling a complete music collection for those who are serious fans of my stuff and that info is below for those wishing to take a part of history with you.

Not to worry though, I'm not vanishing from the gaming world, just moving on to other projects like modeling, textures and level design. I will continue, on a much smaller scale continue making small sounds for certain content packs that I release and they will continue to be sold, I am not pulling them off the market for as long as I am doing game design.

Now without making this into a sales pitch... The other music pieces that will be on the DVD collection include my works way back like tracks I might have talked about years ago but don't really remember including my works on tracks like ECHOS, Magic egypt, Dirty Trance, 20s Trance and many many more that were released back way before I became a member of Garage Games. All these older copies will be on that collection as well, plus all the KEY files for Reason 3.0 and newer for the older Ambient Sounds pack. There will be a huge collection of stuff to go
through and gain from with this one of a kind collection.

When will it be available?

At this point, I'm not sure, I have to get everything together for this collection but I'm shooting for a Summer, 2009 release. The cost will be $249.95 for the entire DVD collection plus signed copies. Pre-ordering will be until the release of the package and will sell for $199.95 plus shipping for all orders before I can open sales to the general public. And for those ordering pre-sale, I will include S&H free as a thanks for all your support. Link and blog will follow when it gets ready to hit the market...

Oh and one last thing regarding the new collection... there will be a firm limit of 300 copies of this released. I'm not planning on doing this again anytime soon, once we reach 300 sales, we are done with the collection so please order early. Again, I'm not into sales, nor selling this pack as a every day pack like my usual music packs and want to make this limited edition available for those who want it. Oh and if your doing the math on the overall pack if you bought everything by it self, it would run roughly $278 and that's WITHOUT the 1 pack with no pricing on it yet and the Sci-Fi Audio Pack. So as you can see this is a steal and only for my hard core fans, and I know your out there!! :-)

Yeah the pipe pack is almost ready to go. That will be in another blog. I think I over killed the info level with this blog :-) That should follow shortly in the next week or two at the most so look for that.
