Cosmic Genesis Developers Diary #1

Well, what is there to say that hasn't already been said about game development a million times over. Its been two months since development of Cosmic Genesis has officially rolled out and already I've met more than my fair share of studio related problems.
I would first like to take a moment to officially introduce Ghostly Studios to the world on behalf of myself and all of the Ghostly Studios staff. Ghostly Studios is a Myrtle Beach, SC Based game development studio which is currently working on a next-generation RPG title by the name of "Cosmic Genesis".
Cosmic Genesis is a Science Fiction RPG based off of a completely new and unique campaign setting and RPG ruleset: "The Unity Chronicles". Cosmic Genesis is introducing a lot of features touched upon by other titles. Our aim is to make the process simpler while allowing the player to have more ownership over the way they play and interact with the game.
One of our most stunning features is the inclusion of the Genesis Toolset. Genesis allows the player to create their own chronicles and play them alongside their friends. Host your own persistent worlds, pvp servers, or cooperative adventures or play through them alone. Creating your own content is as simple as point and click! All editors in the Genesis toolset are driven by a simplified WYSIWYG interface.
While we are currently in the early stages of development we have been making great strides in driving our success forward. We are huge supporters of the indie game industry, and as such we have chosen Torque3D as our engine of choice. Currently much of our work is being done using TGEA and our own scripting language derivatives.
More information on the game and its many features are due to be released later on down the road. I fully intend to release regular progress updates now that development has ramped up to full speed. For now, I invite all of you to check out our website at http://www.cosmicgenesis.com and view the first released renders, and an introduction to our first announced character race: The Draconians!

Remember to remove armor before boiling, also - they make excellent boots.
