Welcome one and all,
Well tonight is the big night that Torque 3D hits the masses for pre-odering. To ring in this historic event, I have taken some time out to test our new Graveyard Pack in the Collada Test engine. Results are below. This test took a whopping 15 minutes to load in and test out and not all features of the pack are in this test, just a rough few to see how the engine reacts with the pack.

Alan James from www.monsterpacks.com did an amazing re-adjustment of the textures, some of the models and even was so kind as to add in a few sky boxes, brush and amazing updates to the pack that I could not have done without his help. Hats off to you Alan! I have created an awesome sound scape to go with the pack so if you are in the mood for a graveyard scene, Torque 3d, TGEA and TGE ready, check this pack out from Alan's web site... www.monsterpacks.com. It's just $29.95 for the pack and his site explains everything (model wise) it includes...
What's Next for Digital Lightstorm
Beyond The Abyss for TGEA 1.8
Magic Mansion has been moved back to using the TGE 1.5.2 engine
TGB allows me to continue work on my Orion Space Saver (hoping to have the 1st kit done by late summer, 2009)
TGB is powering out new mini game, Regions: The 1st Level (coming in 2010)
Duel Point Racing (a NFS like game) now on the ground breaking testing block - will use TGEA 1.8
and several new content packs to help fund all these projects. I have near 30 content packs I'm slowly working on that I want to release by next summer, 2010 if all goes right. For those of you who are staying with TGEA for now, all coming packs will be for TGEA and T3d both in the coming months as T3D comes more of age. I myself am staying with TGEA 1.8 to work on all my coming games as there is nothing wrong with the engine, so to me, why fix it? Later down the road I'm planning on upgrading when sales start rolling in from all projects we're working on. It's always ok to miss the boat the first time around if you need to, and we feel the next trip around the island will put us in a better shape to buy it all out.
Congrats Garage Games for a great new baby to add to the collection! You still have a wonderful and cheap priced engine to build from compared to many on the market. I still feel Torque is always going to be a strong engine to make a game with.
What's going to come of your Ambient Sound packs
With the installment of the new Torque 3D engine, my ambient is moving into a new direction for sound production. I'm moving in to specializing solely in Ambient Space like sounds. They are easy for me to dream up and create new packs based off of. I'm currently working on a new Trance sounds CD with beats and moods as well but that is mainly for the clubs, not gaming... but I might consider using my Trance music in games for action moments and such.
Til next time, let the party begin... the countdown has bugun to TORQUE 3D!! Yeah BABY!!!

they even said they made those versions just for TGEA testing. it still might work in T3D though but they would have to tell you if that collada test will work in T3D. it might as why would they test it on TGEA if its not going to work with T3D but you might have to made some modifications maybe.

i hope you knwo that collada test was rigged to work with TGEA your not really putting it in T3D with that test your still putting it in TGEA.they even said they made those versions just for TGEA testing. it still might work in T3D though but they would have to tell you if that collada test will work in T3D. it might as why would they test it on TGEA if its not going to work with T3D but you might have to made some modifications maybe.

Yeah, it looks like it's actually sharper looking in the Torque 3D engine then the TGEA one this pack was built for. Still, we know it works now... and watch for a special posting coming in May 2009!
