Soul Wars - Lite Release Date Delayed...

Unfortunately due to some technical issues that have arisen in the last few days I am going to have to delay the release of Soul Wars - Lite until a later date. I am extremely grateful for the interest shown thus far and I am very proud of what has been achieved so far. To celebrate the release date announcement I have updated the player races gallery and added a new gallery with a few sneek peeks into the GUI for the game.
It is important to note that Soul Wars - Lite is the feature limited release of the game and does not include a Combat, Magick, or Commerce system ... these features will be added into the full release of the game. Don't worry though, both releases of the game are still going to be released for FREE.
So why split the release of the game? Well Soul Wars - Lite serves two purposes. Firstly, it will allow me to get the base client tested on a lot of platforms and receive valuable feedback regarding its operation and any issues from the community. Secondly, it will drum up some interest in the final game and allow prospective players to get a feel of the World of Lodor and the various races.
During the Soul Wars - Lite phase, development will continue on the full game and certain content will be released for Soul Wars - Lite as it becomes available and to allow further testing of the various components to take place.
So I hope that the news has perked some more interest, and the sneek peek galleries would have gotten your appetite a little wet. I will be updating the galleries over the next few weeks prior to final release, so please keep coming back. Another important announcement will be made after the release of Soul Wars - Lite ... so please stay tuned.
Thought I would add some of the GUI screenies here ... just for kicks.

The release date is looming ever nearer and I am dead on schedule to meet the deadline. :) Now I can start prepping the first 5 maps.

I have added some more screenshots of the GUI to the website. All the non-gameplay GUIs are now done and I am very happy with them.www.soulwars.org/gallery/gui/1#navigation

Nice clean GUIs get the thumbs up. (I can't abide clutter, and overly "frilly" interfaces, they make things confusing)
