Not true, I have purchase several products from GG without any problem at all. The error is more likely one caused by the payment processing system in use by GG, but is not a direct result of any action they have taken, it is a weekend so i would not expect any immediate response, but once the weekend is out the way i'm sure help will come pretty quickly.

Welcome to the community ;-)

Lol. Nothing like a rational response to an issue.

I bought it on Friday and since i'm in denmark so GG should have had plenty of time to reply because of the timezone difference.
The fact that they meet legitimate complains with complete silence tells me that don't care at all about their customers and as far as i'm aware, charging people for a product they didn't get is illegal.

Thank you for the welcome to the community, how ever ironic it was meant to be, but rest assured i'm only staying until i've got my money back

To Craig.

Yeah, it's funny huh? They've charged me 5 times for something i've never received and again, they can't even reply to my mails. I've written at least 10 mails by now either through the contact form or direct mail and still nothing.
I'm happy you find the incomptence of GG funny. Fool

I find your reaction funny, not the situation. A wild accusation of being "criminals" on a blog is not going to achieve anything. Hence me describing it as irrational.

Try ringing GG on this number tomorrow: 541-345-3040

Sounds very much like its a simple issue with the ordering system. GG website changed a lot this week.

Remember it is the weekend, so give them a chance to get into the office tomorrow before blowing your top. I'm sure they'll do their utmost to rectify the issue for you as quickly as possible, despite your accusations.

@Hans, have you checked your "Account"? If the purchase did indeed go through, your product may be sitting there waiting for you to dl. I have bought several license and items through GG with absolutely no problems at all.

They are not doing their utmost. If they were, they would at the very least respond to the mails. It's the only decent thing to do.

I posted this on a blog because apparently that's the only way to get any attention on this sorry excuse for a website

Yeah, i've looked there. The download isn't there. Infact, no purchase has been registered there

I feel your pain. It's just a bad time to expect a timely response, though. They just went through a tumultuous week including a major upgrade to the website, which may be the reason that the problem occurred in the first place (they're still working out the kinks). They're probably overloaded with emails because of the glitches in the site and didn't have a chance to get to yours on Friday. I'm sure they're not intentionally ignoring your problem.

I know it's irritating when you buy something online and don't get it immediately, but it's something that happens when you're doing business with a computer. I seriously doubt they're trying to rip you off, there's just no upside to it. Give it until Monday and I guarantee it will be resolved.

Sorry you've had an issue Hans, I can assure you that Garagegames are not criminals as Gavin suggests it's the weekend so they quite probably haven't gotten to your email just yet.

They've just launched this new site design and there have been a few bugs and problems as you get with any new software, so there's always the chance they've had a lot of emails and support to deal with.

They're a great company for looking after people and resolving any problems, I've spent plenty of money with them, so just be a little patient and I promise you that you'll hear back from them - most probably Monday.

Thank you Gerald:)
The thing that really bothers me is the fact that they chose to keep the online shop up, knowing there are issues. That's irresponsible in my opinion. Right now, i just want my money back and be done with GarageGames. I just don't trust a company who does business this way

Thank you Andy:)
Yeah, i guess i'll wait a few more days but i still don't understand the mentality behind not answering emails about this sort of thing. Keep in mind that they got the first mail Thursday night, giving them plenty of time to respond

Lol...they may make very poor choices regarding their community, their customers, and their site design, but they're not criminals.

On the upside, TGB is probably they're most polished product and will be well worth the wait :D Once you get it and start playing with it, you may forget this ever happened ;)

I know but the frustration of being charged money for a product i didn't receive as well as being ignored made me exagerate to get my point across and noticed

Yeah, that's what i've heard and that's why TGB was my first choice:)

Hans, I have puchased many, many things from the GG site and never had an issue in the last 5 years. I assume the issue is with the new site and I am sure it is only a bug. They can correct this, just let them get in the office. Now Monday is a holiday so this is a 3 day weekend in the USA. This might delay a response. Truly this is not something that happens often, so please don't jumpt to conclusions about GG. They are good people.

Hans, if you haven't already tried David Montgomery-Blake, try emailing him, he's admin for the forums/blogs/etc. and even if he is personally not able to resolve the issue, he will definitely get it in front of who ever can.

His email is davidb AT garagegames.com

If you have tried David and not gotten a response I would be amazed, since he is very quick about things and always gets back with me either immediately or well within less than a day (usually a few hours).

Sorry for the bummer of the experience, my bank itself locked me out of online access to my account early Saturday, and because of a holiday on Monday, I won't be able to get that resolved until Tuesday myself!

I don't know how things are done in Denmark but offices are usually closed on weekends in western world. They'll get back to you, don't worry, GG are NOT criminals. I have bought about 8 different products from them over the years.
