New FPS?

Hey guys, been a while since my last blog and thought I would try to be more blogged up this year if you get me, well I can try. So between doing contracts I started to create a FPS game, the basic idea is super simple, make a good solid shooter. I want to avoid gimmicky features and big fancy features, no vehicles, just pure gun play. keeping it simple is the idea. If it can at least stand alone, look good and most importantly play good it can then be expanded on, maybe it could be an advanced FPS start kit, maybe it could be commercial (online only)
I do need help with this though so if you are a programmer and this is your cup of tea please contact me... andoart@googlemail.com It would be great to work with a like minded person and if it is simply too much we can always do something else, smaller, simpler. The art aspect of the game is not a problem so if you can handle the code then it could be cool, very cool :)
I am still available for contract work, environment art and such, thought I would mention this as the job related features on the GG website have gone AWOL (help wanted, job opportunities, looking for work etc...) Would love to see these features return along with the good old dev shots, could even have em bigger :)
Some candy, prototyping (TGEA)

Is that in Torque? Looks brilliant! I would definitely offer my services, but I'm working on a project of my own, and I have barely anime to code as it is :P. And someone of your artisic skill probably deserves a better coder than me ;)

That looks fantastic. Kudos for having the wisdom to take on a focused goal for the game too.

I believe that it's already been mentioned that an updated starter.fps featuring the artwork of Apparatus should ship with T3D, but a "better" FPS kit in any case is definitely welcome. I had started one a couple months ago but got held up by other things and it got put on hold for a while, sure would like to get back to that sometime.

Wow, nice visuals. I swear I've seen those bricks before! No really... it was somewhere downtown... That's how good I think it looks. You've definitely a good eye for detail.I believe that it's already been mentioned that an updated starter.fps featuring the artwork of Apparatus should ship with T3D, but a "better" FPS kit in any case is definitely welcome. Awesome. And I like that you decided to tackle a simple FPS game, I often wonder why more people don't do that, seems like the simplest thing to make with Torque. Of course, I'm not doing that myself, so I can't point fingers, heh.

Awesome job, Ando. What are you using to create/edit the map file?

Great work, the art is fantastic and your concept is tight and concise. Can't wait.

Just be sure to get permission from the owners of the Pepsi trademark before you use it. ;)

@ Jaimi, I use 3DWorldStudio to create the map file, old school but rock solid.
@ Joseph, WW2 art pack is pretty specialized, maybe some older architecture instead.

@ Joe, PEPSI paid me $100,000 for that ad space :) Yeah for sure trademarks and logos is dangerous territory and any released product would need to be legit.@ Jaimi, I use 3DWorldStudio to create the map file, old school but rock solid.
