Hello fellow community members,

Christmas just passed and I wish you all the best for the new year, I feel like doing something different with my free time and I want to create a demo-reel kind of collection of recorded footage of Torque members working on their projects, add a cool little soundtrack to it, give proper credit, and post it on youtube. =)

What I was thinking is if you are interested record some footage of yourself working on an interior, a scene in the engine itself, a character, etc. then upload it to filefront (or any other file hosting service for that matter) along with a text file containing information you want me to include in the video (your name, name of project/character, etc.) and of course send me an email with the download link so I know and I will keep you up to date on it. I think of this as a compilation of true masters and artists at work and I will try my best to make it come out very nicely but I do want to keep it a little surprise what I do have in mind, before I upload the final to youtube I will upload it on my private server in HD for you to download and approve.

Please do not add any watermarks or anything to the video files since I will be adding whatever you include in the text file just so I can keep a certain standard within this project, it would be really cool if I could get this going that would be really fun if you ask me! You can email me all the necessities at Fanatixgames@Gmail.com, this is my private email so if you have any other personal requests or are simply in the need of a friend feel more than welcome to make yourself noticed!

Have a great new year everyone!
-Kevin

This is a cool project. Do keep in touch with me, Kevin, as it progresses. :) I'd like to see videos of everyone using Torque too.

Well I think this would be fun and for those trying to get a project out there - any publicity is good publicity especially if it is free so common people sit down on Maya and record your screen while playing with a finished model looking all professional and stuff! =)

Of course you're right on that one and I will therefore choose both - YouTube has a much larger audience but there will also be an upload to vimoe, I find myself a little disappointed and a little stupid however - not one person has contacted me regarding this so far..
