Hello-- My name is David King and I'm new to Torque Games. I am currently enrolled in the Game and Simulation Program through Devry University. I have previously worked on the Gamemaker program through YOYO Games. I'm not sure if I know what I am doing yet, but as I continue through Devry, I am sure I will conquer the programing languages. I have previously made games using RPG Maker Two for the ps2. I hope to learn more abiotu the programming process as I continue my education and look forward to making my first game on the Game Builder.

Welcome to world of crazy people David. You must be crazy to want to get into Game Development. But you did make one good non-crazy choice and that is joining this community. One of the most powerful things here on the GG site besides the tools is the community. Also another good choice to start out small with TGB (Torue Game builder) first. Have fun Torque'n!!

Welcome to DeVry fellow student, this is year three for me at Devy, so I will give you a hint. Be very afraid of the physics class(depending on who you get for a professor I guess)I have all A's and B's until that class but only one or two C's throughout college isn't too bad I guess, but they do say that the online classes are harder than normal ones, and not just because they are all 7.5 weeks each. Good luck and welcome to GG;)

Donald mentioned that I might be crazy to get into game developement , and he has no idea how right he is. I suffer form schizo affective disorder and therefore I am completely insane, hence the aformentioned interest in game design. So yes I am a little nuts. and I have the medication to prove it!!

Sounds like you have a similar start in game development as I had. I started with RPG Maker, but it was 2K for the PC. I then went to a university for game design and developpment, Full Sail.
I look forward to you showcasing your TGB projects in the future! Happy holidays!
