old concept, new game

A new game is VERY, VERY, VERY hard, and a new game concept?! Today is almost impossible!

Today we have all kinds of games, shooter, strategy, race, dance, cook, band and roll-the-giant-ball-that-picks-all-the-stuff-in-your-way, and this is just a few examples...So I can be thinking, a new game every other equal or recycle... Hold on! Recycle!? How???

Ok, everyone already know the new great success Left 4 Dead, I saw many guys talking about what is revolutionary, a new game, but whait, this is just a COOP first-person shooter game, how can anyone can say this is new or revolutionary, this is the same thing as SWAT 4... BUT, in L4D there something diferent, LOTS AND LOTS of zombies that makes the players play together, with this little extra did the game become very stressful for the player and very frenetic!
Very good for a old concept with some updates...

Another good example is the game "Blast Theory", I saw this game for the first time during the VIVO Arte.Mov in Belo Horizonte, if you don't know, this is a hide and seek game where the players who hide play online around the world in a digitalized part of a real city, I saw Belo Horizonte in Brazil, Tokio in Japan and London in UK, and another guy with a PDS, a radio, a camera and a GPS talk with online players and try to find them running in the real city!

So, this is just a few exemples about how can you get a old concept, recycle it and build a new game!

Ok, talk about games is very good, but I will take the post for something else too...
To ask for help for the people of Santa Catarina, if not a major disaster was caused by rain that left many homeless and unfortunately some deaths.

For photos and videos is not very different with what happened with Hurricane Katrina and the tsunami in Asia, so, if you can help not only the families of Santa Catarina but Brazil will thank!
