Domain of Heroes launched.

I just launched Domain of Heroes...it is a new spin on the stuff that makes old RPGs great.

Domain of Heroes is a FREE browser-based MMORPG, designed to be played anywhere, anytime. Your character is semi-autonomous so you can easily play in the background while you work, study, or do other multi-tasking. No downloads, plug-ins or installation is required, so you can play on any computer with a browser and an internet connection. Create your character from 30 races and 27 classes, employing over 150 skills. Whether you choose to be a werewolf chemist, dragon ninja, or dwarven pirate, you can aid one of the three factions on their quest for world domination, or you can roam the world and follow your own heroic storyline. Millions of possible items can be equipped, or you can upgrade and forge your own. Start guilds, engage in PvP, play mini-games, gamble for treasure, and more.

usually when you post you have launched a new game, you might include a picture and possibly a link to your new game.. it helps promote it.

Very Awesome! The game looks sweeeeet =)

Did you guys use TGB embedded in a browser? Or did you roll your own solution?

Looks to be a LoRD clone with an interface upgrade and most aspects of LoRD expanded (more classes, races, options, etc.). I don't think any GG engine was used though. Straight ASP/.Net.

And for those wanting a screenshot:

Thanks guys.

@Edward - sorry about no link/pics - I didn't know if anyone would read this :)

@Michael Perry - no TGB on this one, but I built the game abstracted from the UI. The plan is to offer a download version as well, so that you can play the web version at work/school/away/mobile, and play an HD version (same characters,everything) on your main rig. The HD version could be TGE (and Instant Action?)

@Brian Wilson - I will have to check out LorD - I haven't actually seen/played that game. To be quite honest, I haven't played many online games except (briefly) Maple Story and KoL.

LoRD is an old BBS Doors game. Many many hours were spent there by myself =) I think I had accounts on at least 20 BBS's circa 1995 that I logged in to to just play LoRD on.

For a web-format version, you've got Legend of the Green Dragon keeping the spirit alive:
