Nine Things I Wish I Knew

I recently wrote an article for Notes on GameDev that might be of interest to people from this forum, particularly the people newer to indie game development. It's called "Nine Things I Wish I Knew (before going indie and making 2 hit games)"... apologies for the "hit games" part, makes it sound snazzier.

Anyways, in it, I talk about my slightly more experienced perspective on things like building a team, marketing, and managing the game development process.

I'd love to hear about things other people have learned that they wish they had known when they started.

Must echo the praise for this well-written article. I'm amazed you got so much info across in a relatively short article. ^_^

Excellent read and thanks for sharing. I thought you made several powerful points that I didn't even think of until you pointed it out.
