Plan for Danny Ngan

Just a quick introduction. My name is Danny Ngan (pronounced "Non"). I am a character animator formerly of Dynamix. Up until the company closed, I was a character animator and lead 3D artist working with what is now known as the Torque engine. It was just the Tribes2 engine when I was at Dynamix.
At any rate, my friend and roommate Joe Maruschak pointed out this site to me, and I thought I'd join since I know a few things about the character animation portion of the Torque engine. Looking forward to some fun times in the forums!

As you no doubt already know, skinned single-mesh character are a pain to deal with. Oddly enough, I've only worked with single-mesh characters. I'd be curious to know what sorts of issues people are running into.

Tim posted a good resource the other day, but I'm sure there are lots of issues still to be covered. The biggest bugbear is that everyone wants to do skinned characters and all the tribes ones seem to be segmented.
Good to see you here.
Phil.
