Zompocalypse Beta!

*phew* All I have to say is "finally!". Note the rather excited exclamation mark, as while game development can be exhausting this is one of the most exhilarating parts of the process. Finally seeing a plan come together and entering that bug fixing/tweaking/showing-the-gameplay-some-love stage is a great relief. It would appear that Paul and I have OCD or something when it comes to game development as we have far outstretched our previous vision of what Zompocalypse was meant to be, going from a single screen shooter with a few weapons to a seven stage zombie blast-a-thon with levelling up, six weapons (pistol, shotgun, machine gun, rifle, flame thrower, rocket launcher), three "boss" zombies (Ghoul, Clown and Pope) and a load more effects.

Let's be kind and call all this creep "organic development" shall we? We'd appreciate that! :)

This game looks like so much fun. I love how the zombies drop thing like donuts and watermelon when you kill them.. it's a great nod to the games of old. Can't wait to play this.
