Here I was trying to post once a month and well I missed that :) Things are still moving quite well. I have lots of updates coming up so figured I'd atleast get all that has been done in the game in a blog. I can't believe it, but it has been 4 months already since starting pre-Alpha and allowing people to play as I develop the game. I have the update process down pretty decently as well as the "Oh crud! Why isn't that working. Backout plan, Backout plan!"
I've implemented Dragons as the third realm. They start off as hatchlings and every 15 levels until 60 they get a new template which is a larger dragon with more skills. They have been a big hit and most people are playing them instead of the main two realms(Humans and Saurians).
Besides all the game additions below, on the development side I added the CS Commoner and Warrior models as NPCs. Makes it nice to have different looking NPCs. Had to modify them to get them to work with the Torque MMOKit, but they are in and looking good.

Finally just finished my 10th zone(The Mountains) with 55-70 level critters. I have multiple players that are now over level 50 so they have kept me busy keeping up with them.

My 4 year old's character Ethan. He is one of my level 50+ users. He can buff, heals, track, trade, alliance. It blows me away. I have to let new people know he is only 4 and can't read because they try and chat with him because they would never guess his age.

Each chapter of my books are illustrated using Daz3d products, so I got permission from Daz3d to create similar looking models and use rendered images as my textures. Doing this allows me to tie the book illustrations and the game together. All the bones and animations however are using the MMOWorkshop(MoM) Character Pack animations because they were already developed for the Torque MMOKit.

Man Leathel! did you write all three books? and creating the video game now? How large of a team do you have making the game? Did you create the website foundationsofhope.com or did someone else its beutiful!! I've had this dream since I was like seven to write a christian fiction series then make like the best MMORPG ever based on the fictional characters I made up when I was like ten I started writing my first book it wasnt much but it was a start I created up characters and just loved writing them into my own fantasy world! I am 15 now and for the last 3-4 years I have been working with Torque and slowly through tons of hours of Tutorials And books I am getting to know more about the amazing program. I have been using Blender for my 3D models and used Milkshape before that (very low budget) but I realy like Blender main fact its free but If I can properly create decent models and get them into Torque properly and functionaly that will be awesome! You have amazing looking models I totally wish I could model like that and the textures!!! what program do you use for your's?Well I just want to sum it up YOUR AMAZING!! ty so much for just living it encourages me to keep moving on!
