Moving to the next thing!

After making Glutton, a 3d worm game, I feel quite relaxed and more focused.I feel being even more of the community. By involving myself in every aspect of the game be it sound, graphics or coding I got a good idea of what it is like to make a complete game all by yourself. The job is quite difficult and I think greatly of all the Great Game Developers. I think that by taking into this field I have involved myself into a field that is quite challenging every day. Even though there are many courses that are so called to be good for Game Development, I think no course is complete for this field. So R & D is the best way to do it, as I had done.
I plan to make a few more casual games by 2009. Also want to move on to the mainstream of core game development, but casual games are easy to develop as the content required is minimal. But still not sure what to do currently so just waiting and taking it slow. One thing is sure the progress in game development is non-linear and complex.
The latest games made by large powerhouses are quite impressive. But it also seems to me that the graphics quality is at its peak. Quite a challenge for Indie Game Developers.
Thanks
Saurabh
