Babylon 5 Starship Commander April Updates

Did a lot of Engine Optimization Work - to improve network data passing.
Changed SQL to standard SQL calls.
Started to LOD my ships - New modeler joined the team.
Multi-player 'kinda' works. - Ship and player selection works but not all in-game tactical displays are functioning over the network.

Alpha 3 to be released (internal) to be released at end of month.
Added Torque Modernization Kit (for dts bump-mapping later)

Man, I miss B5...

Been watching it on DVD again lately.

I am looking forward to this one. I remember playing "I've Found Her" - the freeware Starfury Simulator - many years ago (and was very impressed with what they pulled off). The universe is really rich, the starships are unique and interesting, and there's a lot of great potential for killer starship battles.

I'm part of OSS Team (OpenSpace Softworks). We are developing a new engine to be use in a new Baylon 5 game. Our goal is to duplicate the quality of the CGI from the show, in a real-time game engine.

not dead yet. just not released. got most of the Centauri, Earth Alliance, Narn and Minbari ships in game. In TGEA 1.8.2 now... re-factored most of the core logic... Sadly, I'm not an artist so thats the big delay.

anyone interested in helping me finish this project? main UI and many ships are in. Hardpoint system and directional damage is in. Needs AI :( mainly.

I registered there... for name is Cyberkada... but my Russian is probably as good as your Tagalog...
