how to control two players

I am creating a simple game using torque game engine, in that I have two players 1st player have to move when i press arrow keys and second player should not move at that time. Second player has to move when i use w,a,s,d keys and firstplayer should not move in that case. Is that possible to control two players like this?, if yes provide me some basic solution. I am a beginner to torque game engine. I need the solution its very urgent
