Some Koth Gameplay Videos

Hey Guys.
Here are some gameplay videos from Chaotic Studios Inc.'s upcoming first title Koth. Sorry about the poor quality. Our videos were only 400x300 when we captured them, and YouTube isn't the greatest. Also there's no sound in these videos, but I assure you that the sounds and music are great!
Anyways, at least these give you a feel for how the game moves and plays. Enjoy. :)

Sweet stuff DALO, aided by torque + afx?

That spell that creates the four giant hooks that attack the target is very cool (about 0:18 in vid #4).

Cool stuff! Nice to see a project so heavy on the effects. That spell that creates the four giant hooks that attack the target is very cool (about 0:18 in vid #4).

Yeah we're using TGE and the AFX Combo Pack (w/ some heavy modifications in some places). My programmer loves AFX, and I do to. It's probably one of the most useful add-ons for Torque we've come across.

Nice, and one of the best uses of it too! :)

Matt Durante poked me and said I should check out these movies and I'm not disappointed! (Well, maybe a little disappointed in what YouTube does to them.) These are quite excellent. The giant hook attack is awesome and I like the raining fireballs in the tunnels. I also like the use of environmental effects like fountains and jump-zone markers. Nice work!.

Thanks Jeff! We certainly couldn't have done it without you laying the foundations. AFX is worth every penny.
