Welcome back faithful readers! Another week of great content across the board, so make yourselves comfy and get ready to enjoy some good reading. Sorry I didn't get a chance to post this last Friday, but I was rushed getting out of the house for my three day weekend :)
* The Code Zone Bargain Basement Blog - John says he's posting something today, but I'm actually leaving for the weekend this morning so... just visit his blog late Friday and you should be rewarded. But not with cake.
* Gaiiden's Scroll - yes, the self-pimping continues, but not without good reason (I think). Ever wonder how that newsletter ends up in your Inbox week after week? I know you do (right?). So I documented the process and laid bare the inner workings of newsletter compilation for all to see. Enjoy! (I hope)
* FREE AOL FOR THE MILLIONTH READER! - The Senshi had the brilliant idea of creating game names with the Video Game Name Generator and then trying to figure out the design behind them. Much hilarity ensues.
* Journal of Ysaneya - two posts in one week! When you see what I'm talking about, you will understand. Whether you go to drool over the amazing images or actually understand half the stuff he writes about (I just pretend to), you must check it out. Do it. DO IT NOW!!
* Journal of Rawr - mittens really ups the ante this week with his essay on the appeal of RTS games. Not only that, but he links to four other articles he's written along the same lines that easily qualify for Featured Article content material. Designer? RTS fan? Whatever, check them out.
* Big Trouble In Little Chairtown - not only does Drilian have pictars and video (yummy) of his project, but he also spews techno babble (okay, it's actually understandable) about various aspects of the game like particles, state machines and memory allocations.
* Journal of MJP - MJP takes some time to cover a topic he says is breached many times in the For Beginners forums (and elsewhere) entitled "Working With Unicode in the Windows API"
Hope everyone had a great weekend, those celebrating the Easter holiday especially. So long from Journal Land for this week!
