New prototype

Heres the all important link, its a flash 9 game, you may expereince some lag while it loads in the begining. Space Shooter
I put credits in the end for Garage Games content, from TorqueX space shooter. I found this to be a challenging project, for so many reasons. But most of it was easy thanks to all that I've learned about making games here. I think this game is important because Its really a complete prototype from end to end, with credits and everything. So let me know if theres any browser difficulties. Also, the swf file is only 60kb, the entire game is built using only AS action script.

I have a degree in dramatic art, and literature, from UC Santa Barbara. I've worked for a few studios, also at Animax Ent in 2008, and some smaller studios. Currently studying Computer Science at CSU Channel Islands.

Its very laggy on my browser and I have DSL. I think that the background texture may be a little too much to be streaming.
I like the ship controls, they are very smooth.
