Super Tuesday!!!

by Anton Bursch · 02/05/2008 (9:11 pm) · 17 comments

If you live in the US and you aren't completely consumed with your Second Life then you know that it is Super Tuesday.

If your state is voting today, don't forget to get out to vote.

Remember... Republicans hate sex in movies and Democrats hate violence in video games.

Your choice should be clear today.

Sex or Violence.

Movies or Games.

Sometimes having the freedom to choose requires making hard choices.

It's a bitch.

Can I say bitch on the internet?

Is either party against swearing online?

Which one?

I don't know!!! Damn it!!!

Um, I hate to say this, but the canidate I chose to support who is a Democrat, also does not have any problems with video games. In fact "He" supports the ESRB and the education of parents to the current rating system.

*Notice I didn't use the canidates name, but you should be able to guess who it is.

Chris Harpan,

This is just a funny non-partisan reminder to vote. I'm not serious about the video games or movies or sex or violence talk.

Personally... i'd like to see less violence in movies and more sex in games.

No matter who wins, we are all ultimately screwed.... :(

Very interesting results today, huh?

@Marcus - That's a rather negative train of thought, one that can lead down a slippery slope of apathetic defeatism.

Year 1 Voter: I'll vote and see what happens
Year 2 Voter: I'll vote, but my candidate probably won't win
Year 3 Voter: I'll vote, but it won't matter because we'll just get screwed over
Year 4 Voter: I'll vote, but my vote probably doesn't count anymore
Year 5 Voter: I don't vote because it counts for nothing

Probably an exaggeration, but the basic principle is there.

My state will not vote till Febrary 12, but I made my mine a long time ago. I also chose the democrated candidate that does not have problems with Video Games. "HE" also appeals more to younger voters.

Of course I made my choice with other factors involved.

I still like the Cthulhu for President slogan: why vote for a lesser evil?

Don't vote, it only encourages them.
