Hail, fellow member of the downtrodden worker proletariat!

Are you tired of the incessant ignorance of your capitalistic slave drivers? Are you always exhausted when you come home from your interminable work day? Think of these problems no more, my friend!

Go to syrealgames.com, and forget your troubles for a while. There you can download wonderful .zip files containing games that you are bound to enjoy for many hours*. Consider these benevolent gifts a boon from our long deceased leader, Father Lenin. We apologize to our dear Mac brethren who will not be able to partake in our games because, unfortunately, they only work on Windows. But indeed, at this very moment, we are planning actions to fix this slight issue.

Also, you can go to the glorious Syreal Games Board and discuss the many differing facets and approaches of Marxism, Socialism and Communism*. (Even our Mac brethren can participate here!) Or you could also talk about the unimaginable benevolence that Father Lenin bestowed upon you when you downloaded Glatte, Shellcore, Glatte2, and Shellcore2.0. You can even say what you didn't like about the games, but you'd best be careful that you keep your respect otherwise we may throw you to the . . . capitalists.

Why are you still reading this? You should be enjoying the benevolence of Father Lenin, playing wonderful games, and participating in the forums by this time! Stop reading this now! Stop! STOP! STOOOOOOOOP!!!!

Actually, I think it's a brilliant idea to use philosophical ideals in video games. This sounds like it could be a funny take on things. However, there's something I can't get over:

You should be enjoying the benevolence of Father Lenin

yea.. Having issues with that one as well. I really like the concept, not so sure of the particular angle used.

This post is great marketing. Capitalistic Communism...the space time continuum just ripped in two and created an alternate universe.

Is this a joke? How many slaughtered under Stalin and Lenin, 21 million? In case you guys didn't figure it out the first time around socialism breeds slavery and fascism.

The graphics on Shellcore2.0 remind me of Tron. I used to love the top down view light cycle games as a kid...

@ N R Bharathae - add to that 80 million by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Check out

Thanks for the feedback, Drew. Tron was my inspiration for the Shellcore2.0 graphics, specifically the game, TRON2.0. One of my favorite games ever.

Yes. Yes it was a joke. As far as 21 million people dying under Lenin; that is untrue. 21 million people died under Stalin, exactly why I used Lenin as my tongue-in-cheek communist "leader".

As far as communism breeding slavery and fascism; that is also untrue. Communism is an idea. Power hungry dictators are the ones who twist ideas into instruments of power and enslave their country. True fascism is the polar opposite of true communism, though governments foolish enough to institute complete socialistic domestic and foreign policy soon become totalitarian and thus closer to fascism than communism. (In fascism people exist to serve the state and in communism the state exists to serve the people. Thus you have the right and left wings of political ideology respectively)

And in case you didn't know, communism actually would work with a small group of selfless people. Instituting it on a large scale is what is nearly impossible. Even Lenin knew this - that is why he started the New Economic Policy which introduced capitalistic ideas into the Russian economy.

I must grudgingly admit that Mr. Silva is correct. I am still quite immature. However, does Mr. Silva not inadvertently admit that marketing ploys such as this work? Mr. Acord hit it on the head. These communistic rambling were merely a marketing ploy to get all of you to actually say something. People don't want to read mundane everyday writing about some boring game company website. They want excitement.

This .plan was off the cuff anyway. Our games have nothing to do with communism. At this point, they don't even have story lines. Despite my somewhat argumentative nature, I do ask your forgiveness if you were offended by my words in this .plan. Please accept my apologizes.

@Kevin James- Yes, you are right. Its government that kills people, not the particular 'ism' it operates under. You have to admit though socialism has a great list adherents; Hilter, Stalin and Mao, others I can't think of at the moment. I'm sure Bush will be added to the list before its all said and done with in the Middle East (American Socialism).

Great ploy too. Kudos.

Communism, socialism, capitalism; when you boil it down its all the same bag.
