Arctic Antics

by Robert Brower · 11/20/2007 (6:54 am) · 3 comments

I've been away from Game development for a while. Now I'm brushing off the dust, clearing out the cob webs and getting back into the scene. Over the last 6 months, I released the Horse Pack, and Seawolf Pack's through 3D Diggers. ***See http://www.3d-diggers.de/

I really want to release a game so I dug into my little bag of tricks and pulled out a game concept that I developed a year or two ago which I will be working on with some other people from the community and some friends. The RTS game is called Arctic Antics. I found the RTS Kit useful for it's camera so I'm using it in the game. I am also using A* for unit movements.

Hopefully, in a few weeks, I will have something to show. You may view the project page here: http://www.garagegames.com/index.php?sec=mg&mod=project&page=view.project&qid=3640

Until then, thanks for reading.

Artic Antics is a 3D multiplayer RTS game involving penguins that pits players against each other while they try to be the first to solve the 3D puzzle under hostile conditions. The beautiful works by 3D Modeller, Animator, and Painter Christophe Canon, Composer, Musician, and Producer Sarah Ziller, and Voice and Sound Engineer, David Seezen, contribute to the nature, fun, and excitement of the game.
