I am proud to announce the beginning of the new Full Sail Simulation Club. For those of you who don't know, I am a course director for Optimization at Full Sail. Last week, we had our first Simulation Club meeting and 47 students attended. Here's the official press release.
Full Sail's Game Development Bachelor's degree program is proud to
announce their new Simulation Club. The focus of this group is to
generate awareness between Orlando's simulation industry and Full
Sail's monthly graduating classes. Full Sail's students graduate
after completing a rigorous schedule that develops the skills needed
for industries that focus on DirectX, OpenGL, networking, and other
disciplines within computer science.
We are currently building an infrastructure for collaboration with those in the simulation industry, for now, I am interfacing one-on-one. If you are interested in more info, please contact me at epreisz ( at ) fullsail.com
In the near future, we hope to have an interactive web portal and job fairs to meet the needs of a growing video game/simulation/training industry and student population.

Count me in Eric. As a Full Sail grad and someone who works in said industry, I'm interested in helping out as best I can. Also, how about we plan another TIG as well?

I did have a look into the courses there and I tell anyone who is extremely serious about pursuing an education in game design and related fields to check out Full Sail. Seems to be a great school, with a great bunch of people from those who I have spoken to there.

I just wish Full Sail offered online courses. Due to being disabled and a single parent, it's a little hard to move to Florida.I did have a look into the courses there and I tell anyone who is extremely serious about pursuing an education in game design and related fields to check out Full Sail. Seems to be a great school, with a great bunch of people from those who I have spoken to there.

@Chris - I know this may not be what you are looking for, but they do offer an online BS. The only catch is that you have to be a graduate of the AS degree :/
