Ladies and gentlemen, I am pleased to announce the initial public release of MrJoy's new epic tower defense experience: When Orcs Attack!
There will be a web based version as well shortly, pending the release of the Unity 2.0 Web Player. In the meantime, enjoy the download version and please forgive the very spare product page -- we'll spiffy it up with screenshots and the like soon but in the meantime everyone involved in the project could use a good night's rest.

Be gentle; the payment processing isn't automated yet so I have to process entries into the license server by hand and there's probably a few bugs left (just drop me a line!) but it's been tested on various combinations of Intel, ATI and nVidia hardware under MacOS X 10.4.*, Windows XP, and Vista so hopefully it'll be OK.

It's not actually a zip, it's a self-extracting installer, the website just made a bobo and called it .zip. It should be fixed. (just renaming it .exe should probably work too).

Talked to Jon about that (think he went to sleep now though so I'll reply =).It's not actually a zip, it's a self-extracting installer, the website just made a bobo and called it .zip. It should be fixed. (just renaming it .exe should probably work too).

Well done on the completion Jon, although since your selling this, I'd recommend you add some screenshots (and optionally video) to the site (at least if it's there, I can't find it...), this WILL increase conversion (especially if anyone's like me, as I don't tend to download without seeing screenshots first). Congrats anyway :)

Anyhow, good luck with the game.

Cool little game Jon. I've heard nothing but good things about Unity, I don't (yet) have access to a Mac so I have no first hand experience with the engine however what I've seen of it looks great.Anyhow, good luck with the game.
