Where have I been?

So I haven't been to active on my blog, but I have a great wonderful and might I say myself handsome excuse:
But before I get to that let me build the story a little bit. Trust me its game related. He we are preparing for my wonderful diversion:

Yes, I have my wife barefoot and pregnant painting :) She is putting on the finishing touches.
If you couldn't have guess so far its a nursery! Not my new game room I have been wanting....
And look who is here welcome to the world Zaiden Elijah Harris
So he is what has been helping me not get my game done... among others things but since he is only 3 days old its really easy to blame on it him... :) no seriously though.
I have been meet with many challenges with creating this first game of mine. Not exactly done but I am learning a lot from the many mistakes I have made in planning. I have game ideas I am working on. I will most likely post some pics of the game here soon once I get permission from the publisher. I will try and also improve on more blog post.

Ah Donald you're in for a world of enjoyment, just don't plan on being able to get anything done for a little while ;) Congratulations man. And great work on the nursery.

Yeah my wife is an awesome artist and believe it or not I have not had her do one iota of art for my games... I working on changing that though LOL. I think the most beautiful pieces that she has ever created has been our kids!

is that mario completly hand painted or a decal? either way room looks amazing

The only decal was Mario. My wife hand painted everything else. I will hopefully be able to get her art in my game here soon. If anyone in Austin needs some art work down on the wall let me know I am renting her out!
