First I am planning on fully understanding the scripting language that is used in the V12 engine. This will give me the clues that I need to start creating the basic concepts of an RPG game.
Second, I plan on identifying an additional features that I may need to code within the engine to support the RPG.
Third, I plan on integrating my current fantasy combat engine in to the current build to handle melee combat. This will be included in either version of a SciFi or Fantasy RPG. Then I will need range combat effects.
Fourth, is the time when I will be seeking art to develope the characters and the creatures that will inhabit the world. Up to this point there will be no art feature differences.
Finally, I plan on implementing a story board to create the final phase of the game. This story board will need work through out the game creation phase, but this is where the finishing touches will be added.
Of course all this will blur, but the first step is the most important.
