Gemstone Texture Pack Clarification
by Gina-Marie -Netjera- Hammer · 05/23/2007 (2:29 am) · 5 comments
Several people have asked me why I didn't post screenshots, or give more direct information through my blog post. Garage Games is not publishing the GTP, and I didn't think they'd appreciate my soliciting sales directly through their forums.
Therefore, the previous post - and this one - are intended for informational purposes ONLY. The Gemstone Texture Pack IS available for sale (very low cost), and can be purchased through the NetjerSoft website. All screenshots, pricing and sales information, as well as a complete list of textures included in the pack, are there. Just follow the "Gemstone Texture Pack" link from the home page.
Thanks a lot for everyone's encouragement and support!

Lotsa people browse the forums and blogs, and dont wanna leave to other sites. So if you have screenshots it's just better marketing for yaself.
(GG... you know I love you)

Yeah, others have done it and screenshots can make all the difference to the conversion rates! Quote:It's really difficult getting photo-based textures from shiny/polished materialsGood Point, even more the reason for screenies :0-)

You are always welcome to pimp your stuff in blogs and forum posts, even for competing products like your own game engines, this is not a new policy and has always been the case. We reserve the right to accept or deny any image of the day submissions but that's about the extent of our editorial. This is and has always been a community driven site so StarCaveStudiosHappyHour aside, pimp away!

Thanks for that clarification. Direct screenshots and pricing information will be up shortly, then.

That said- I really like the textures. It's really difficult getting photo-based textures from shiny/polished materials, but you pulled it off really well. Kudos!
